Yesterday it was Sophie's 6th birthday. I wish we were at school to sing 'happy birthday' to you Sophie. Perhaps we can have a special birthday treat when school starts back (it is Miss O'Neill's birthday on Monday).

ReplyDeleteSophie says "Thank you very much". We have a couple of friends who only live a couple of blocks away so we still managed to have a little party. It was a great way to catch up and do something normal for a couple of hours. Except for the pesky aftershocks of course who wanted to join in.

ReplyDeleteI am glad you had a good birthday. It's great that you still had a party with your friends, but what a shame about your 'unwanted pesky visitors' that wouldn't stay away. I hope that you and your family are still safe and well. We are watching your blog regularly and we hope you are back at school soon.
