Oral Language

Room 10 is very lucky.  We are trialling a new sound system to see if it something that all classrooms should have.  Last Tuesday we had 4 speakers installed and now the teacher wears a microphone...we can hear her really well!  Her microphone helps to keep us focussed and on task.

We also have a hand-held microphone to use when we are speaking to the class.  We used it for sharing our news at Oral Language time.  How exciting!

Lyric is using the microphone to share her news about her teddy bear.

Alura is saying Good Morning to the classroom.

William does not often share news.
Today he amazed everyone when he shared news about
his racing car!
Ka pai, William!

We think Rosie might be an author when she is older.
Rosie shared her own book about birds!

Oscar is using the microphone to share his news about his box.

Martina might be an author (or an illustrator) when she is older too!
Martina used the microphone to share her own book.
Korbyn shared news too!

  1. What fantastic news! It is great to see you all using the microphone so everyone hears what you say clearly.

  3. What a great idea! good way to keep the children's attention and interest and it's also got to be confidence building!
